Who We Are
Alexis Cooper
Executive Director
Lexi is 23 years old and has been working/volunteering in this theatre community since she was 11 years old. She has been involved in over 40 productions in her time here. She works with Travis diligently to foster a safe and welcoming theatre that is challenging and fun. Lexi's heart is warm knowing that she is adding something to such a great theatre community here in billings.

Travis Kuehn
Artistic Director
Travis has been involved in performing since a very young age. Music directing, directing, and acting has always been a passion of his. Before owning Backyard theatre he graduated with a masters degree in music. He wants to see the theatre community see a different point of view in performing by putting on shows that challenge society, and create a public discussion. He is happy to be supported in this adventure by his family and friends.
Creative Team
Supporting the theatre's leadership, those in the Creative Team handle everything from archival of events to visual and technical design.
Theatre Board
A theatre board of directors is responsible for overseeing the overall governance and strategic direction of a theatre organization. In essence, the board of directors provides the governance and strategic leadership necessary to ensure the theatre’s success and sustainability while supporting its mission and engaging with the broader community.
